Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

Incontinence can be a very “touchy” word and sometimes you can feel very embarrassed to talk about it.  But do you know one in three women after they have babies suffer from incontinence?

Many different abnormal symptoms related to your waterworks can happen.  Some of the common symptoms are

  •  leak when you cough, laugh, sneeze, change position, exercise or get out of bed
  • leak when you are rushing to the toilet
  • feel you need to go to toilet again even though you just emptied your bladder
  • have to go to toilet straight away when you have the urge

Pelvic floor assessment is beyond undergraduate qualification and requires women’s health physiotherapist with postgraduate qualification in continence and pelvic floor rehabilitation.

If you have any questions, please contact us and don’t let the symptoms ruin your quality of life.  In a lot of instances, specific pelvic floor muscle retraining can cure your symptoms.
