There is emerging evidence low intensity focused shockwave therapy is useful for erectile dysfunction. This is a non-invasive, painless treatment and can be easily done at the clinic. It takes about 15 mins per session. The only thing you need to expect is a loud sound when the shockwave is applied, but patients can be offered a noise cancelling head phone if they require.
