Lymphatic drainage is a manual lymphatic massage technique that is used to help the lymphatic fluid to return to the lymphatic system. It has evolved dramatically over the last 10-15 years since I started my journey as a therapist. My oncology patients who have followed me since I started my career could tell you how technique has evolved.Through technology, we are able to see how lymphatic fluid moves and how much pressure we actually need to make the lymphatic fluid moves and the speed is crucial to make the massage effective.

Also working on the scar tissues and improving the flexibility of the connective tissues through clinician’s palpation skills makes the clinical session successful and worthwhile.
